It’s a big day tomorrow in the Indian smartphone industry, with the 2 current giants ( soon to be challenged by the galaxy S4 ) in the smartphone world, scheduled to be launched tommrow. That’s right there are going to be 2 Big Launches In India : Sony Xperia Z and HTC One .
Sony Xperia Z
Sony Xperia Z, the latest offering from Sony after its divorce from Ericsson is all set to come to Indian shores.
A press invite hinted at the announcement for the smartphone in India on 6th March. The invite contains the silhouette of the recently launched Xperia Z and the focus is on Sony’s new power button. The tag-linre Sony has used on the invite: Everything is about to change is a corruption of Apple’s well known This Changes Everything – The favourite line used for any launch. Sony Xperia Z is not just water-resistant and dust-proof but unlike other phones in the category does not look rugged. Instead the phone is a sleek, superbly designed model with specifications to match.
Sony had announced its latest flagship smartphones Sony Xpera Z and Xperia ZL at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013. Just to recap, Sony Xperia Z smartphone comes with a 5-inch LCD TFT touchscreen Reality display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Sony has also integrated the Mobile Bravia Engine 2 to the display to make pictures more brighter and sharper. The other specifications include 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 32GB via microSD card. The smartphone also comes with 13-megapixel rear camera and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The Xperia Z is IP55 and IP57 certified, which means it is dust and water resistant.

HTC One
After the recent launch of LG Optimus G & SONY Xperia Z it’s time for HTC to announce the launch of its flagship device “HTC One”. HTC will be launching its flagship device “HTC One” in India on 06/03/2013 that it tomorrow and co incidentally its sharing the launch date with that of Xperia Z. Though HTC had showcased HTC One device in the Mobile World Congress 2013 which was held in Barcelona, the exact launch pattern around the globe was not shared.
The HTC One has a 4.7-inch 1080p display, a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera, and an all new aluminium uni-body design, so it is quite cracker in terms of pure specsExpected Price :
