Microsoft is providing a very cheap Windows 8 upgrade option for current Windows 7 users. For this upgrade program Microsoft has already started taking registrations for existing Windows 7 users. This upgrade will be available in 140 countries and will be available at a price of as low as $14.99. This program will allow you to upgrade to Windows 8 Pro provided that you fulfill the required criteria.If you bought a PC with Windows 7 or a copy of Windows 7 after June 2nd then you can register yourself for the program at windowsupgradeoffer.com. Last date of registration is 28th february 2013. So if you miss to register before this date then you will have to pay the full retail price for the copy of Windows 8 Pro.If you are one of those who got a Windows 7 PC before June 2nd, then you can upgrade to Windows 8 for $39.99 on October 26th, which is also the date of General Availability of Windows 8.The offer is for customers (e.g. Home users, students, and enthusiasts) who purchase a qualified PC.
